Why in Visayas State University? Wooohhhh....waiiiiiiit... This is the most common question asked to me by some of my classmates here in Visayas State University. No questions about why computer science? Hmmmmmmmm... Well, here we go...

• IMHHO (in my honest and humble opinion), VSU is next to UPV-Tacloban College in terms of quality education in Computer Science here in Region 8... You dont agree? Then prove to me im wrong!!!
• its a state university, meaning students can be called Iskolar ng Bayan - Scholars of Taxpayers.
• low tuition fee about Php 120.00 per unit
• lot of scholarship / financial grants
• inexpensive cost of living in Baybay, Leyte
• they credit lot of my subjects
• i already have friends/workmate in computer science department
• i knew some computer science graduate from the university which are really competent software developers
• the CS department somehow (in a little way) support Free and Open Source Software (computers in our laboratory have Ubuntu Linux)
• the department help their students to be certified (PhilNITS and TESDA Computer Programming NCIV)
• i already proved myself in Mindanao State University, so let me try in Visayas State University, hope there exist a Luzon State University..... hehehehe... peace....
